The Fantastic Four: First Steps by Marvel has been playing since July 25, 2025, and has earned over half a billion dollars at the box office globally and exposed the world to a new MCU team of Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach. Having its own distinctive style and very high approval (87 per cent of critics, 91 per cent of audiences on Rotten Tomatoes), the movie is now nearing its digital release period.
PVOD (Paid Digital Release)
Marvel typically has a 45-60 day digital rental and purchase follow up to theatrical release. On the basis of this, viewers may anticipate the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps in such streaming platforms as Apple TV, Prime Video, and Fandango at Home in the end of September 2025. It could be on September 23, but there are still no retailer listings.
Disney+ Streaming Release
Disney+ releases typically come three to four months after the theatrical debut. For example:

In line with this trend, The Fantastic Four: First Steps will probably be released on Disney+ in mid-to-late November 2025. This would coincide with the time of the year during the holiday season, and would make it a good family film to watch.

It is not another Marvel movie but the first Fantastic Four movie that received a Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. On top of establishing Avengers: Doomsday, it presents iconic heroes such as Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing, Human Torch and Doctor Doom, which will be at the heart of MCU in the future.
Thus, there is no defined streaming date, but the end of September appears to be a probable date of PVOD, and Disney+ will be available nearer to Thanksgiving 2025.
