Composer Sachin Sanghvi : The popular duo Sachin-Jigar music composer Sachin Sanghvi recently hit the news headlines after getting serious sexual harassment charges. A 29-year-old woman made a complaint that she was attacked after Sanghvi had made the first contact with her on Instagram. At the time when the composer was in the possession of the police, he was put under bond.

How the Allegation Surfaced

As it was reported, the complainant first communicated with Sachin Sanghvi via Instagram messages. She claimed that, Sanghvi assured her of a chance to be featured in his music album after which the two shared phone numbers. The case is reported to have become worse when she went to his music studio where the composer supposedly proposed marriage and raped her on several occasions.

On behalf of Sanghvi, lawyer Aditya Mithe said the charges are entirely unfounded and do not have a lot of evidence. The case has no merits whatsoever. The arrest of my client by the police was unlawful and that is why he was placed on bail immediately. We are ready to stand the charges leveled against us to the end, Mithe said.
