Kaziah Liz Mejo: Miss Universe India 2026 has been crowned in the hands of a 19-year-old girl from Kerala who won Miss Universe India 2026. The young girl, Kaziah Liz Mejo, is not only a law student but also a successful model.
With this feat, she will now be representing India at the 75th edition of Miss Universe Pageant. The event is scheduled to be organized in November 2026 in Puerto Rico. She hopes to make the Miss Universe crown return to India after a long time.
The journey to becoming the Miss Universe India is quite successful for Kaziah herself. She has won Miss Teen Diva 2024 at the age of 17 and also became the first runner-up in Miss Teen International 2025. In 2026, she won the Miss Universe Kerala title.
Kaziah was born in 2007 and spent her childhood in Abu Dhabi where she also completed her schooling. Kaziah is not just a pageant but a talented individual. She is a classically trained dancer with 12 years of experience and also plays music including drums and violin. She has worked as an actress in Malayalam movie “Shylock”. She is also a well-known public speaker.
Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen was one of the judges at the final of Miss Universe India.
The first runner-up of Miss Universe India is Vaishnavi Gannesh from Tamil Nadu who will represent India at Miss International 2026. Anushri Satavlekar from Gujarat was the second runner-up. Tejaswini Shrivastava and Anubha Vashist Chaudhary were others in the list.
With this win, Kaziah has become the first woman from Kerala to win Miss Universe India title.
While getting ready for the Miss Universe pageant in Puerto Rico, Kaziah carries within her the dreams of millions of Indians. She aims high, and her ambition is to make India proud by winning the country’s fourth Miss Universe title.
