Clika: There is a drumbeat around Clika (2026) the first project of innovating music producer Jimmy Humilde. Humilde is well known to change the face of the Mexican-American world of music and now presents his first feature film ever under his own label, mixing a heart beating rhythm with emotional and rough drama.
The movie tracks the story of Chito (who is portrayed by the emerging talent JayDee) that is desperately trying to become a musician with great ambitions. His life is reversed within the same moment because of his performance of a song, which becomes a viral video. He seizes his chance to make a niche in the combustible new wave of Mexican-American music, however, fame comes at cost. Before he knows it, Chito is involved in a very risky situation that makes him wonder what he is out to seek in all his hard work in pursuing the American Dream.
