Keanu Reeves F1 Documentary : Film producer and actor Keanu Reeves will host and executive produce a new Formula 1 documentary series that follows the Cadillac team as it builds towards making it to the Formula 1 grid, with exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the American manufacturer first effort. General Motors and TWG Motorsports under the Cadillac Formula 1 team, are gearing up to enter the grid, in March 2026, facing its debut season.
Keanu Reeves Returns to F1 Storytelling After Emmy Win
Keanu Reeves F1 documentary is just an aftermath of his Emmy-winning on Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story. The series will be created by his production firm, KR+SH with North One and will give a behind the scenes peek at the construction of a brand new F1 team strategy and engineering, team management and driver selection.
It is a real privilege and thrill being involved in sharing the amazing story of the Cadillac Formula 1 Team and its amazing adventures into the Formula 1 racing scene, said Reeves. With the docuseries we want to give people the chance to close up to the core of this journey and get a look in to what it requires to be a part of one of the most exclusive arenas within the sphere of sports in the world.
What the Cadillac F1 Docuseries Will Cover
The documentary, which will be scheduled to premier early in 2026 prior to the opening season Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne, is going to give us an intensive view of the entire build-up of the Cadillac team to its FIA Formula One World Championship single-seater debut-entry. The following will be covered by the series:
- The formation of the team and facilities
- Partnerships with TWG Motorsports and General Motors
- Use of Ferrari power units in year one
- Plans to develop Cadillac’s own F1 engine
- Recruitment of engineering talent and drivers
- Day-to-day operations led by team boss Graeme Lowdon
A Bold Move for American Racing in Formula 1
This venture is not all about fun but it is a calculated move to really bring to the realization that America is huge in Formula 1, a sport that has over the years been dominated by European automakers such as Ferrari, Mercedes, and Red Bull.

When and Where to Watch the Cadillac F1 Documentary
Cadillac Formula 1 documentary series is at an early stage of production and is likely to be released prior to the beginning of 2026 F1 season. No network or streaming platform partner has been announced, although since Reeves has successfully used Disney+ in the past, speculation is that a big platform rollout is on the cards.
