Even before this, action movies have come like Animal, Marco and now this Fateh movie has also been released in the cinema halls. You must also watch this film once and if you want to know its review, then keep reading.
Fateh Storyline
The screenplay introduces a small village in Punjab. Here, Fateh (Sonu Sood) owns a small dairy farm. Fateh is alone, having no family, and lives in a leased house owned by Nimrit (Shivjyoti Rajput). Nimrit has this job of lending people out using some kind of a loan app. And the plot turns crazy when Nimrit disappears just after getting stuck in some sort of fake loan app scam.

Fateh is on a mission to find Nimrit. He undertakes an enquiry and reaches Delhi, where he’s set to uncover a cyber mafia that has been run by Raza (Naseeruddin Shah) and Satya Prakash (Vijay Raaz) in his search for Nimrit. In a mission of exposing the criminals, He teams up with Khushi (the wonderful Jacqueline Fernandez), an excellent hacker.
That’s a question: Will Fateh wriggle to win in this labyrinth of cybercrime in order to find his Nimrit and catch the criminals red-handed?
Direction, Writing, and Music
The choice of cyber crime, so relevant at present, marks the first foray into direction by Sonu Sood. The concept of the movie is really well and strong, and performances are commendable. The direction, however, could have been a bit refined as some of the scenes seem rushed or undercooked.
Ram Charan Game Changer Movie Review: Why the Audience Rejected It
Sonu’s anthropomorphic portrayal of Fateh pulls along nicely and keeps you at the edge with the action sequences as such. All those fight sequences choreographed well could have livened up the film. The background score works a lot, especially in high octane sequences, the rest doesn’t come to a balance when compared to the score of the so-called Fateh Kar Fateh by Arijit Singh.
The performances were good, if measured, but the roles were not many on screens. Naseeruddin Shah is a good antagonist in the drama, while his role is apparently limited to a single room indoors. Vijay Raaz gives his usual credible performance; however, these characters do not have any much room either. Jacqueline Fernandez is satisfactory as Khushi, the hacker; her character just comes off as being just a bit one-dimensional, though.
Box Office Collection – Day 1
Sonu Sood’s directorial debut, Fateh, has received open palmed collections at the box office on its first day. The film earned around ₹0.2 crore nett, with an occupancy of about 10.60% across India. The occupancies are all as follows: Mumbai saw 15% of the remaining NCR 13% and Pune 18%. Other important markets such as Bengaluru reported 12%, while Hyderabad and Kolkata had dismal performances at 7% and 5%, respectively.
Fateh is Up Against Strong Contenders in ‘Game Changer’
The stiff competition posed by Ram Charan’s Game Changer is what primarily affects the movie’s box office performance.

Game Changer has indeed created a nationwide buzz grossing an estimated ₹26.8 crore across the world, thus relegating Fateh’s opening collections to the background. The online war has begun with people debating on their forums which film is better.
Final Verdict
Fateh is action-packed and raises an important flag on the subject of cybercrime. The performance of Sonu Sood is commendable, especially in tension building, high-octane fight sequences. However, the directing and pace could have been better. While it is a crucial message about cybercrime, the treatment feels a little unbalanced.

Definitely for lovers of action movies, Sonu Sood fans will love Fateh; probably, however, not quite what people expected before its release.
